Born in New South Wales and raised in Western Australia, Jacob Stanes is an artist and animator based in Perth Who’s dream is to animate his own stories for film and television and then branch out to other mediums like comic books, video games, and card games.
As a kid, he watched a lot of cartoons such as Ben 10, Power Puff Girls, Scooby Doo, Dino Squad, Sonic the hedgehog, sponge bob, Pokémon, Digimon, Ninjago, Hero factory, Fairly Odd Parents, Avatar the last air bender, Transformers, Tom and Jerry, and a lot of Roadrunner cartoons, but what really got him to the idea of becoming an animator for a living was because of a guy named Mike Nicholas who is a cartoonist.
